Wow, how time flies! It was my 28th birthday on the first of this month and today is the 14th birthday of one of the greatest art communities on the Internet! What a great site this is and I've been a fan of it ever since my friends told me about it back in 2006. Being a long time member, I've met a lot of new friends on here and I know for a fact that I wouldn't be the artist I am today without deviantART. Every time I think of time flying, I always go back to that quote from Ferris Beuller's Day Off. "Yep, life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." So true!
Even though I only post very rarely on here, deviantART is like a home to me and I always find myself going back to you guys and checking out all the new art. How cool is it to have a site that features not only traditional artwork, but videos, poems, stories, etc.? This is pretty damn cool and I will forever be a member of deviantART for as long as I'm alive...Damn, that was pretty deep, but you get what I mean.
One of the most fun experiences I've had on here was seeing my artwork on the front page of the site. It was a drawing I did of the Joker and Batman called "Don't Rain on my Parade". Now, I know this may just seem like a selfish rant, but to be honest, I really felt like I was apart of this big family when I saw it on the main page. I felt like I was noticed and since then, this site will always have a special spot in my life. The subjects, the forums, the chatrooms, the Comic-Con booths, it's all here and this is something that we all take for granted. deviantART is more than just an art community, it's a part of who we are and sharing ourselves with it makes it even better. I could honestly care less about Facebook...this is the site to have forever and I look forward to getting more and more involved with deviantART as the years go on! Happy 14th you guys! Keep up the great work and I love you all!!!

20s are over
Here it is...the last night in 20s! Tomorrow is going to be big day for me. The funny thing, is that I don't feel any different and still feel like the same old me. Although I'm not done with school, nor in exactly the place I thought I would be, I have a very optimistic view of the future and am just glad to be healthy with no ailments. As of earlier this year, I started having an obsession with hiking. Los Angeles has so many places to workout and to hike that you don't need to spend a shitload of money on a gym membership. Be out, enjoy nature and heck, something you need to go somewhere on your own to be one with yourself and your body. T
Awolnation at Hollywood Palladium 2015!!!
Yesterday was my birthday and I was invited to go see Awolnation perform at the Hollywood Palladium and I've got to say it was fucking awesome! We got there at like around 6:30 and the doors didn't open until 8 but once we were inside, it was just spectacular.
The show started with a few unknown bands--Irontom and then afterwards with K. Flay--but once 10pm hit, the group we all were waiting for finally hit the stage and they didn't take any time to get started...Well, I take that back...it took about 20 minutes since they were having mic problems, but that was quickly resolved...sort of. Since the event was for all ages, there wasn't an ID c
Goodbye 2014!!! It's been fun!
Well, it's the 31st of December and the last day of 2014. Man, what an awesome year this was!!!! I really enjoyed myself and this will be the year I will never forget. There have been ups and downs but overall, this has been a a great year in my life!
First off, this year marked my first time going to an actual live rock concert. Around September, I went to go to see Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden at the Verizon Amphitheater in Irvine, California. This was just awesome! It was worth the trip from Santa Monica and man, even though we got tickets up in the top of a hill, seeing the event was just awesome! I'll never forget the whole bathroom
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Now, this was an amazing movie! I was flipping through Netflix a few weeks ago and decided to check out this movie. I haven't seen it for 20 years and watching it again really brought back the awesome memories of my childhood. The stop-motion used in this movie was just astonishing and it was nothing I had ever seen before in my life. 1993 was a great year for movies and I'm glad I was able to experience it growing up.
The time and effort put into a movie like this was just amazing. Of course, as a kid, I had no idea how long it took or how much effort was put into a production like this. I was reading about the film and found out that it st
